Pueblo Women’s Center approach to pelvic pain, menstrual cramps and painful sex is to first understand your symptoms and how your life is affected.   You will receive a complete history and physical exam, and evaluation that may include advanced “ultrasound pain mapping”, interstitial cystitis testing, Laparoscopic surgical procedure, or medical treatment trials. Common gynecological causes of chronic pelvic pain include endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, pelvic congestion syndrome, pelvic relaxation, vaginal prolapse, and many others.

Pelvic pain can be constant or fluctuate with the menstrual cycle. Pelvic pain can be related to ovulation, bowel, or bladder function. Pueblo Women's Center is uniquely outfitted to assess your pain and address it with an effective solution. Surgery may be required for certain diagnoses.
